Sunday was a pretty slow day with nothing on my schedule, so I took my free time to visit the botanical gardens of Valencia. It only cost me about two euros to get in and the garden itself is practically in my backyard.
The blue star is where I live and that red arrow is pointing right at the gardens. The red star is my school and the red square is the soccer stadium. As you can see, it is only a few blocks away. It is a pretty large tract of land that is full of plants, trees, bushes, cacti, and more. They have all kinds of vegetation from all over the world. The University of Valencia does some botanical research there as well.
The entrance to the gardens has a rather large hole in the roof and there are plants and trees growing right in the middle of the building.
Valenciano, Español, and English.
Benches everywhere for relaxation.
The main building.
There were stray cats all over this place. Probably dozens of them. I guess they liked chasing after all the birds that were also running around.
Fin.
